Neil Cox

Neil Cox was born in 1955, Watford, England. He spent his childhood in a small village, Abbots, Langley. As a teenager, he lived in Hemel Hempstead, where he also earned a high school diploma. Neil Cox studied law at Southampton University and completed his academic degree in the year 1978.
Neil Cox has no formal artistic training and can best be seen as self-taught. Already in early childhood, he began drawing and painting animals and nature, an interest and motifs that he has refined and enhanced adult.

Cox made his debut exhibition in Plymouth, Devon, in 1980 and his first solo exhibition was held at Coleman Gallery in Uxbridge 1981.
Already in 1982, he was ripe for an exhibition at Waburn Gallery, London, and has since then exhibited in many London galleries such as The Burlington, The Tryon and Malcolm Innes. He has also participated in several group exhibitions and exhibited separately in the U.S., Germany, Holland, Yugoslavia, Italy and in Sweden.
Already in 1982, he was ripe for an exhibition at Waburn Gallery, London, and has since then exhibited in many London galleries such as The Burlington, The Tryon and Malcolm Innes. He has also participated in several group exhibitions and exhibited separately in the U.S., Germany, Holland, Yugoslavia, Italy and in Sweden.
Cox was appointed to the WWF and supported their work with the conservation of endangered animals in the world.
